SANDY
Terry Moore Email Terry
Sandy was recued from the Richmond Lab Rescue in January 2006 when she was about 1 1/2 years old. In April 2006 she earned her Therapy Dog International (TDI) certification and is a Heartland Hospice volunteer. Sandy started jumping off a bank into a small lake in May 2006 and a low dock in June. In June 2006 she competed in her first event at the Codorus Summer Blast with two jumps over 19', two jumps over 20', and qualified for the finals. Sandy is also an excellant quail dog, not only at retrieving birds, but also at pointing them out. Sandy is a wonderful dog and we have been truly blessed to have her in our family! She has made one great Junior Handler very happy - Robert Locher.

MATTIE
Sandy has just become a sister to Mattie, a one year old Golden Retriever. Sandy seems to be tolerating her OK and she is well mannered for a pup. Terry's house is Mattie's third home in three months. Hopefully this will work out and she can be JoAnn's dog. Terry tried to take her for a swim at the river but Mattie didn't like the water. Maybe Sandy can convince her it's fun and they'll have a second DockDog in the family.
