Reggie is a 4½ year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever born July 5^th 2003. Nathaniel and Katie Brinton got Reggie in August of 2003 from Ches-shores Kennels in Wye Mills, MD. The zip code of the kennel happened to match Katie's birthday and they knew it was meant to be. Nathaniel picked out the puppy from the litter and they named her Reggie after the recording rap artist, Reggie Noble. Her registered name is Gunsmoke's Noble Method. Growing up with Chesapeake’s Katie was well aware of the breed’s passion for being in and around the water, and was eager to introduce Reggie to the new sport of dock jumping and joined the DockDogs website. It wasn’t until December 2006 that Katie saw that the Chesapeake DockDogs Club had recently formed in the area.  Excited by the news, Katie and Nathaniel went to their first meeting in January. Reggie jumped in her first event at the end of March 2007 at the Frederick fairgrounds (which also happened to be the first DockDog event for the Chesapeake DockDog Club!). Katie and Nathaniel were not sure what to expect at their first event but were definitely hooked after the first jump!

Reggie jumps with both Nathaniel and Katie. In June 2007 Reggie and Katie earned their Regional Senor Title at the Keystone Club event at Codorus. Although Nathaniel (17^th Ranked CBR Team) usually has the advantage over Katie (19^th Ranked CBR Team), she finally beat her husband at the Chesapeake DockDog Club event at Lilyponds where Reggie had three jumps over 23 feet with a personal best of 23.5 feet!

At home Reggie enjoys playing with her toys especially her Kongs and Nylabones. When she’s relaxing Reggie is usually found curled up on the sofa. Outside she loves car rides, swimming, chasing squirrels and running around with the largest stick (or small tree!) she can find.  Reggie and Nathaniel were one of the teams featured on the Outdoor Channels website, while Reggie and Katie were invited to the DockDogs television finals in Nelsonville this past October. Unfortunately they were not able to make the trip. Reggie, Katie and Nathaniel are all looking forward to the 2008 DockDogs season and wish all the other teams the best of luck and big air!
