Visit Shayla, Mickey's Little Sis

Mickey McGuire, the Irish Water Spaniel, was born December 5, 2004. He loves to do things...any thing! As is typical for the breed, he enthusiastically participates in whatever he is asked. Mickey got his Breed Conformation Championship in 2007, Dock Diving Novice title in 2008, Rally Novice title in 2009 and is currently competing in Dock Diving, Rally and Agility. His first few times at Dock Diving was a challenge because he didn't want to stop swimming and come out of the water. When Fox News did a segment on our club, he stayed in the water for a solid hour! He finally seems to have learned the point is to jump in and then get out so you can jump in again. Now that he is getting the hang of jumping off the dock, by the end of a competition he bypasses Junior length and get himself into Seniors where the competition is fierce. When he's not in the water he's faithfully beside his Mom or Dad as a companion or playing with his kid sister, Shayla.
