Mia was born in October of 2007 and was the favorite of the litter (and the smallest). She is named Topbrass Daring Amelia after Amelia Earhart (Mia for short) as she is pretty fearless and is always busy doing something.
Mia's mom thinks she is going to follow in Pomme's pawsteps as a big jumper. Her first time on the dock was a very cold March day when she was 4.5 months old. That day, Mia did no jumping, she decided it was too cold to get her fur wet. Her jumping debut was at Puppy Palooza in May of 2008. At just 7 months her top jump is already 12 feet 11 inches. Now our lovely Miss Mia can not WAIT to jump off the dock and get into the water.
When Mia is not busy leaping into the water, she can be found training for hunt tests (on the other side of Lilypons) with big brother Lewis (they have the same mom). She also has fun being a puppy and trying to get Lewis to play with her. Lewis is not ready to give up his spot as top jumper in the family just yet but Mia is catching up fast. However, he does wish Mia would hurry and grow up, she is kind of an annoying little sister.
