Cali, a Chocolate Lab, was born 1/7/09. When she was about 12 weeks old, as we were walking along the Little Patuxant River she started chasing a butterfly. As the butterfly flittered over the water, Cali kept following it right into the river. She went under, then popped up and started swimming and her love of water was born. Then in May 09 we were at the Havre De Grace Festival and saw a DockDogs event and knew then we had to try this. Her first event was the Chesapeake Wine and Koi Festival in September where she jumped 17 feet 3 inches and we were hooked. Since then she couldn't wait to get back on the dock. Cali has since earned her Senior Title and was named by DockDogs the "2010 Top Ranked Regional Overall Big Air Senior Team" with an average jump of 22 feet 4.6 inches. Looking for more BIG JUMPS to come!
