Boo was born on October 28, 2007 three days before Halloween.  As a puppy he loved hiding under bushes and jumping out at people as they passed….. BOO !  Shortly after we got him we moved to a house on the beach at the North end of Virginia Beach and it wasn’t long before he was jumping over the waves chasing after his favorite toy, a stick.  Soon thereafter we moved to the Portland, OR area and in the summer of 2010 Lynn said she wanted to try this dockdog thing at a Cascade Dockdogs try it session.  He was a natural so we signed up for the next contest which was “The Bite of Seattle”.  It was a gorgeous contest in the shadow of the Seattle Space Needle and we were hooked.  He jumped 19’ something his first weekend but Sunday afternoon we hit the road for home because there was no way he would be in the finals we thought, heck there were dogs jumping 25’… LOL  The next contest was a couple weeks later, a 10 day national event in our hometown and Lynn jumped Boo most every day, I jumped him when I could on weekends.  He finished off that contest with his first jump at an old familiar toy, his stick, and jumped 22’ 07” !
