Adamstown PA
It was a windy and blustery day for practice - very cold but the dogs didn't seem to mind. Six club teams made it: Brian & Mishka, Carolynn & Rafe, Jane & Peanut, Paige & Lewis, Sharon & Thunder, and Tracy & Brody. Everyone took advantage of all the free dock time to get some practice in. I think the dogs would have jumped a lot farther if they hadn't been jumping into a headwind.
Paige brought her brand new 5 month old addition to the household - Mia. Lewis was in fine form showing off for his new little sister. Mia went on the dock to check out this sport that all the other dogs seemed to love. After watching her toy being thrown in, she investigated the height and decided she was just going to stay dry and look cute and adorable on the dock while everyone cheered her on. Cute and adorable she is - check out that face and the fur flowing in the wind during her stance on the end of the dock. Someone else may retrieve her toy now.
We also had three brand new teams join us: Steve & Rebel, Jill & Havoc and Laverne & Rio. All three dogs jumped and were getting the hang of it. We're hoping to see these new teams at the hopefully WARMER April practice and at the May Puppy Palooza Event.
