Hamburg PA
June 13-15, 2008 - This year, for the Hamburg Cabela's event it wasn't rainy and cold like every year. Instead, it was hot, hot, hot!! Only the occasional clouds gave us any break at all. A storm was threatening to rain on Saturday night BBQ but managed to miss us. As usual, both the food and company were great!
Congratulations to Steve Sozio & Twister on their first National Event. They won 2nd Place in the Semi Pro Finals with a jump of 21' 7". Twister also tried Speed Retrieve for the very first time and finished with a time of 7.81.

7th Place Amateur - Kellie Wisotzkey & Clay - 12' 9"
We had a puppy reunion happening at the event. Coleman and Cruiser connected for the first time since leaving momma. They both jumped in the same wave and both had identical scores of 10' 10" - talk about good genes! Cruiser jumped in three waves total and ended of with an 11' 11", beating his brother and Chesapeake Member, Coleman, who only jumped in one wave. It was Coleman's second event and very first National Event off the "Big Dock" into a pool and with his GREAT sit/stay he's going to be jumping big in no time. He's following in the footsteps of his "big brother" Argus, who at 13, was the oldest DockDog at the event.
