Nelsonville OH - It was a very hot weekend for the four teams from Chesapeake DockDogs that made the trek from Maryland and Virginia.  Jim Linde & Tasha made a last minute decision to go to the event and ended up as one of the last walk-ons competing to try to make the televised finals.  Tasha's event personal best of 18' 2" wasn't quite enough to compete in the finals on Sunday but they stayed to cheer on Paige Jones & Pomme in the Junior Finals and Peggy Toms and Kai in the Master Finals.  Both teams qualified for the finals at the Frederick Event in August.

On Friday and Saturday, Peggy Toms & Talley tried for a chance to get into the Senior Finals but didn't make it.  Peggy & Kai had several nice warm-up jumps of 22' 10", 22' 3" and 21' 6" and qualified for the non-televised finals on Saturday where they finished in 11th place.

Sunday dawned bright, sunny and very hot for the televised finals.  Everyone was excited, especially Paige, who was the very first person in the parking lot.  Paige & Pomme dominated the Junior Finals with jumps of 18' 1" and 18' 8" for a 1st Place finish.  Peggy & Kai were up next in the Master Finals.  They started out with a 19' 6" jump but weren't able to pull out a winning second jump  (16' 5") and finished in 11th Place.
